All our black bin bags are made from recycled polythene blended with LLDPE for extra burst strength and are classified as Light Duty, Medium Duty, Heavy Duty or Extra Heavy Duty. Whilst the thickness, or gauge, of the film is important in determining the strength of a sack, of equal importance is the quality of the extruded film and freedom from imperfections than can propagate splits and tears.
